We could tell you we wanted to create a city that was real in its daily aspects but that couldn't be located in any real place (a city that didn't exsist, then), but why make it so difficult?

The truth is that when we started writing we hadn't the smallest idea of which place was the one our heroes were living in, better say that we saw it like the cities we live in. So what turned out was an hybrid of the two cities. We call it Milenze but it hasn't a real name and it's located in a place not quite precised.

What we know for sure is that this city is a metropolis, maybe more similar to an american city that an italian one.
There are big malls, mega-bookstores, and skyscrapers but also small shops and historical palaces with frescoed ceilings. There are natural parks just out of the city and we know it is linked with cinematographic industry.
We can find a financial area and a most residential one, then a group of nightclubs from which the Darkness stands out for originality.

Street names are instead all italians. Anyway, there wasn't a project to create a real map of this city. Mainly because it isn't useful and then because the story develops inside one street where people came and go between two palaces.
