Family: His parents died more than 1520 years ago, when Samirien was destroyed.
Special Bonds: He always flirts with Claris, who usually turns him down flatly. The two seem to be friends, even if the elf-girl lost her faith in males during her detention in Nakiri's dungeon. One year ago, Zendaru asked her to Nakiri as a reward for one of his job, doing so he freed her from the prison where she had been shut in just because of her opposition to the elvish general who wanted to destroy her village.
Now Zendaru and Claris live together in Milenze, mainly because the elf-girl has nowhere to go anymore.
Another important person in Zendaru's life is Tears. The two have been antagonist forever and, even if they hate each others for some never-resolved questions of women, they feel for each other great respect which makes their duel neverending.
Distinguishing Features: A scar on his left cheek.
Disposition: Optimist, hearty, ironic. A little messer but willing. A really good man, he rarely gets angry and he never pouts too long.
Weapon: Zendaru uses a combined sword both one and two handed, called "The Shadows Sword" and forged more thand 2000 years ago from the elves of the Adonay's wood in collaboration with the magicians of the former city of Samirien. This sword is able to manipulate and subdues shadows, giving them life and creating objects and living beings similar to the original who casted the shadow.
Magic: As a Follower of Eki, he owns a considerable amount of power, but he can't use it very well yet. He prefers shamanistic spells linked with air and water, to which he has some sort of connection.

Zendaru is the last survivor and heir of the crown of the lost Samirien city, charming and peaceful town once placed in the coast-kingdom of Adonay.
The town was destroyed by a draconic attack when Zendaru was 17 years old. The attack, targeted to awake the hidden Follower power inside him, failed but destroyed the city.
Without home or family, Zendaru wandered through the world for century working as a mercenary, bodyguard and sometimes killer until he met Nakiri Shelv.
Since he knows about the presence of Eki's power inside Zendaru, the black elf has taken him under his orders planning to steal the power from him. To have it, he has helped Zendaru to awaken that power and to use it.
